One Love - Not just a phrase but a way of life!

I want you to experience One Love in your life. I want you to have love for yourself and everyone around you.

What Life Coaching Is:

Why you need a life coach:

My favorite way to describe life coaching is with an analogy: A life coach is to a personal fitness trainer as a psychiatrist/therapist is to a medical doctor. A therapist or doctor takes someone who is not well and makes them well. Wheras a life coach or a trainer takes someone who is well and makes them better/helps them improve/helps them to level their life up.

Life coaching starts in the present and moves forward. It takes where you are at, right now, and works to uncover your own innate wisdom, or intuition, to give you guidance on how to proceed forward.

That’s not to say that the past is forgotten or never looked at. There is always useful information that can be gained from our past experiences. We just don’t dwell in the past, replaying and reliving the guilt and shame that have made us feel like shit for most of our lives.

Coaching takes where you are and helps you level up. It can help in every area of your life. Let’s say you’re not satisfied with your career path. Coaching can help with that. Or, you’re having difficulties in a relationship. Coaching can help with that too. Together we’ll talk about what it is that you’re not satisfied with. We’ll figure out what WILL make you satisfied and how to get there. Whatever difficulty you’re having in your life, coaching can help.

People may wonder why they need a life coach. They’ll say that they have friends and family that they can talk with about this stuff. I’m not denying the help and assistance that someone close can provide. But in my experience, many times this person is too close to you. They just want the best for you, and so are incapable of being objective. This is where I come in. I’m a neutral bystander. And although I do want the best for you, I’m not influenced by any history together. Sometimes we need someone who’s not so close, who can see outside of the box we’ve put ourselves in, to help us to see the answer that is right there, but just a little out of view or focus.

My Story

Life coaching saved my life. Sounds dramatic, doesn’t it? But it’s true. I was in a really dark place and what’s worse I didn’t even realize it. I was on the fast track to losing my wife, my job, my family and possibly my life.

I had a problem with alcohol. I never thought I had a problem with alcohol. I thought those that had problems with alcohol were other people, people who had real issues in their lives. I have been sober from alcohol since 2013.

Many years ago, I was in the same place you are in right now. I was lost in life. I was struggling with connecting to my wife and everyone in my life.

I believe that vulnerability, especially for men, is one of the most important keys to growth. If you can’t be vulnerable, you can’t be real, with yourself, or with anyone else.

Life gets rocky. Just remember that ‘You Rock!’
